To its lineup, Samsung has added the Galaxy Core LTE, yet another smartphone. The Galaxy Core gained substantial popularity in some developing markets and as the name suggests, this is a 4G upgrade to the Galaxy Core.

The LTE version comes with a new 4.5” display of qHD resolution which is up from 4.3” WVGA unit but it is powered by the same 1.2GHz dual-core CPU of the first gen Samsung Galaxy Core. The upgrading has been made in the screen technology from a TFT panel to PLS.

Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is run by the Samsung Galaxy Core LTE and also includes RAM of 1GB. Its main camera does 720p recording and 5MP stills, while there’s VGA variety of the front-facing snapper.

Wi-Fi b/g/n, NFC, microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS are the connectivity options of this smartphone. 8GB is the internal memory but it is up to 64GB expandable via microSD card slot. A 2100mAh battery is present inside the 132.9×66.3×9.8mm body of Samsung Galaxy Core LTE.

In white and black colors, the Galaxy Core LTE will be available in selected countries of Asia, Russia and countries across Europe. As the Galaxy Core 4G, the Galaxy Core LTE will be referred in some regions. There is no confirmation of pricing yet.
