The new Galaxy Grand 2 smartphone features several improvements over its predecessor, which is announced by Samsung. To start off, it features a new design that with a stitching pattern around the faux leather back is similar to the new Galaxy Note 3.

On the inside, the Galaxy Grand 2 runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 8GB of internal storage space with a microSD card slot and 1.5GB of RAM. On the front is a new 5.25” LCD with a resolution of 1280×720, which is an improvement over the WVGA display on the previous model. After up gradation, the battery now has a capacity of 2,600mAh.

The Galaxy Grand 2 comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The larger display means that than its predecessor, the new model is slightly wider and taller. Still, it has a dual-SIM slot and 8MP camera on the back.
Primarily, the phone will be available in white, with pink and black offered in selected regions.
