There’s been a lot of talk on the next Galaxy Note phablet, which is expected to be officially unveiled at IFA 2013 trade fair in September.

Initial rumors suggested that Samsung would include a 5.9-inch display within the Galaxy Note III and then, additional info emerged that claimed that the smartphone would boast a slightly larger 6-inch touchscreen.

The latest hearsay on Galaxy Note III’s specs sheet claims that Samsung plans to embed a flexible display onto its phablet. Alas, the information was inaccurate and has been quickly dismissed by Samsung’s CEO JK Shin.

Korea Times reports that JK Shin has recently confirmed that Samsung Galaxy Note III will be officially introduced later this year at IFA 2013 trade fair, in Berlin, Germany.

He also dismissed the latest rumors claiming the Galaxy Note III would be the first Samsung smartphone to pack a flexible display.

According to him, “more time will be needed” for the company to develop this type of displays, so Galaxy Note III will come packed with a non-flexible touchscreen.
