The South Korean tech giant is now launching cheap and affordable smartphones enabled with 5G technology. In a recent development, the phone maker has launched the most affordable handset in its popular A series dubbed as the Galaxy A22 5G. The phone is going to be a cheapest one in the market with 5G technology.
Design and Display
The design and aesthetics of the smartphone are similar to other products in the A series. The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is finished with matte. It has a triple camera setup at the back.
Samsung Launches Most Affordable 5G Enabled Smartphone
As far as the display is concerned, the Galaxy A22 5G has a 6.6-inch LCD panel with 1080p+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, its sibling comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with a 720p+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
Internals and Storage
The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is equipped with the Dimensity 700 SoC topped with 4GB, 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB expandable onboard storage. The handset runs on One UI Core 3.1 on top of Android 11 on software front.
Cameras
The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G has a triple sensor camera setup. The main camera of the phone is 48MP accompanied with a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle module, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The handset has V shaped notch for selfei camera of 8MP.
Battery and Pricing
The phone will be powered by 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging feature. The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G will be available for sale from 1st July 2021 at a price tag of €230 in selected regions.
