Samsung has announced the release of Galaxy S9 in few months and the mobile phone giant of South Korea, Samsung has patented the features of screen embedded fingerprint scanner, which has been long rumored in the smart phone. This company got patent for technology by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and it allows implementing this technology in the coming smart phones.

The file for patent shows the mechanism, which is added with 12 point pressure system and it sits between touch sensor and cover glass. It will be added with additional software to make its use possible.

Additional Software Features

The sensor is added in bottom layers of display and it is pretty much entire screen to cover within the proximity. There is wide range of software based gestures or features and it can be used with it.

When you open the app to find where is the data stored and the gallery or messages, the screen will recognize as the finger tapping is of the user or the unknown person. When the unauthorized person try to reach to these apps, the set of images and the message will be displayed on the screen after making sure the unauthorized use does not get the important information.

Rumored

There were rumors that the feature was included in pretty much recent flagship smart phone like new iPhone X. when you get rid of Touch ID, it renders the entire fingerprint to unlock the mechanism redundant until it is introduced next time. There are most of the mobile phones, which have the features of the fingerprint sensor present below the display or at the back of the smart phone. The new mechanism could signal the beginning of more seamless design on the handsets.
