In South Korea, Samsung chiefs let the press to know that their first ever Smartphone with a curved display will arrive in Oct. No more details are given but we can wait as only few days left in October. For a device with gentle curves towards the edges, the company has already filed a patent.

We know that in January, Samsung has already shown off a prototype phone with curved edges and an OLED display. We also know that this technology is already implemented in smartphones such as Galaxy S Advance, Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus already but the unconventional in that instant was the glass, not the screen.

But, if the technology is incorporated cleverly and the ergonomics are really helpful, than this can become the next big thing.
