Samsung Unveils A Premium Variant Of Galaxy Z Fold 2 In China

Samsung has unveiled a more premium variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in China, dubbed the Samsung W21 5G. The Korean Smartphone manufacturer is regarded as a first company to introduce foldable devices in the market and till now four foldable phones has been launched by the company. After few months later of launching Galaxy Z Flip, Samsung is all set to come with this amazing device with a connectivity of 5G technology and it may be a first ever device in foldable category to support 5G connectivity.

Design and Display

This variant of the Z fold 2 is quite different in terms of aesthetics mainly. The Samsung W21 is slightly taller than Galaxy Z Fold 2 and comes in a dull gold premium finish with a linear design. It is provided with 2 SIM slots and remaining designs features are same as in previous variant including camera. Like Galaxy Z Flip 2, it also comes with a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED, while the external is a 6.23-inch Super AMOLED.

Internals and Storage

The Samsung W21 is powered with Snapdragon 865+ chipset topped with 12 GB RAM and 128 GB onboard storage. It runs One UI 2.5 flavored Android 10 on the software front.

Cameras

 

The foldable Samsung W21 is housed with a triple sensor main camera with a 12 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP configurations. For selfies, it packs a 10 MP single sensor shooter.

Battery and Pricing

 

The Samsung W21 is powered by 4500 mAh battery with 25W wired and 11W wireless charging. Samsung W21 5G is available for pre-order for CNY 20,000 (~Rs. 480,000).
