Samsung announces the rugged version of its flagship phones every year and the Galaxy S7 Active is the same version of Samsung this year. Currently, it is available only through AT^T but soon will be available all over the world.

As compared to current flagship phones, the design of this phone is quite different but there are many similarities also between the two phones. The main and clear feature of the phone is its durability as the phone has protection of Gorilla Glass 4 to make it shutter-proof. It is dust-resistant and can remain under 5 feet water. The regular S7 can’t match its durability produced b metal and rubber design.

Under the hood, you’ll get a Snapdragon 820 processor with expandable storage and 4 GB RAM while it has a 5.1” Super AMOLED display and 1440p resolution.

There are 5 and 12 MP shooters at front and back respectively. On the front, you will get a fingerprint scanner. You can launch three pre-selected apps through short-tap, long press and double tap the cool touch which is present above the volume rocker.

Samsung also has the biggest battery of its line up in this phone which is 4000 mAh. $795 is the price set for this device.
