The smartphone companies are currently manufacturing their flagships with large displays and compact smartphones have almost vanished but Apple is still manufacturing compact smartphones that are smaller in size but efficient in performance as well. The best example of the latest compact smartphone is Apple iPhone 12 Mini which is recently launched in the flagship series of the Apple.

The famous leakster OnLeaks reports that the Japanese tech giant Sony Corporation is going to manufacture a compact handset in its renowned series Sony Xperia. It is not yet whether Sony is planning for a premium flagship or an entry level device but a report from another resource suggests that it could be a an entry level phone equipped with Snapdragon 480 chipset. The images of the phone show that the device will be similar to previously launched Xperia phones and will have a water drop notch for selfie shooters. However, it will have a tall screen, vertical camera bump and dedicated camera button.

The compact handset by Sony is expected to have a 5.5 inch screen size. The rear side is expected to be mounted with dual camera and a single LED flash. It will have a 3.5mm audio jack as well.
