Telenor participated in the bidding of 3G services last month and started the free trial of 3G services in Pakistan. Now Telenor has decided to launch the 3G services on commercial basis for the customers from June 01.

Ufone has already started the services of 3G on the commercial basis after their successful free trial in the country from May 24. Now Telenor is the second operator, who is going to start the 3G Services after Ufone, who has already launched the free 3G services in the country. Telenor has decided to start the 3G services on the commercial basis in four cities like Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

With the launching of the 3G services in the country on the commercial basis, the free trial period for the customers will be expired and it will no more available to the customers. The free trail of 3G will expire on 31 May and it is also hoped that the packages of 3G will be provided to the customers on 31 May 2014. After the announcement of the package, Telenor will start the 3G services commercially for the customers from June 01.

Now there are two other operators, who have won the 3G license and they still do not start the 3G services, which are Zong and Mobilink. Mobilink has confirmed that they will start the launching of the 3G services in the first 15 days of May and Zong will take time to announce the 3G services in the country as they are going to announce the big bang of their 3G spectrum. The customers of Zong are waiting patiently for the start of the 3G services in the country. Telenor will declare the complete update with the 3G package and it will be made available to the customers very soon.
