After launching its 3G commercial services last night, now for both prepaid and postpaid customers, Ufone has announced its 3G packages finally.

تھری جی لائسنس ملنے کے بعد آج یوفون نے پاکستان میں اپنی تھری جی سروسز کی کمرشل لانچ کا اعلان کر دیا ہے۔ تاہم یوفون کی تھری جی سروس ابھی صرف لاہور، اسلام آباد، کراچی اور راولپنڈی کے مخصوص علاقوں میں ہی دستیاب ہے۔ جبکہ فیصل آباد، پشاور، گوجرانوالہ اور ملتان کے صارفین اس ماہ کے اختتام تک مفت تھری جی سروس استعمال کرسکتے ہیں۔ تھری جی کوریج کے بارے میں جاننے کے لیے اپنے موبائل فون سے #3344* ملائیں جبکہ تھری جی سروس ایکٹیویٹ کرنے کے لیے #7701* ملایئے۔

Ufone 3G

According to your data needs and budgets, you can use lot of choices offered by Ufone in its 3G packages. The maximum limit of these Ufone 3G packages is 3Mbps data speeds with monthly data limit of 3GBs and charges of Rs. 1500 while the minimum charges of Rs. 5 will be applicable for half day at 256Kbps.

For the customers of Karachi, Rawalpindi/Islamabad and Lahore who use 3G services, these newly announced 3G packages are applicable instantly.

New 3G handsets can be provisioned by dialing *7700# while all those handsets with 3G on Ufone network have already been provisioned on 3G by default.

Ufone 3G Packages (Prepaid)

17 different Ufone packages are provided to the prepaid customers. On all prepaid customers, PayG 3G will be the default 3G package. Details are given below.

PAYG 3G Package (Default Prepaid 3G Package)

Pay as you use plan is the PAYG Ufone 3G Package. There are no data bundles in this package. Its details are following.

اگر آپ کسی قسم کا پیکج منتخب نہیں کرتے تو تھری جی انٹرنیٹ کے چارجز 20 روپے فی میگا بائیٹ ہونگے۔ جس کے بعد آپ کو 19 میگا بائیٹ انٹرنیٹ مفت فراہم کیا جائے گا۔ یعنی آپ کو 20 روپے میں کل 20 میگا بائیٹ ڈیٹا ڈاؤنلوڈکرنے کی اجازت ہوگی۔ کسی قسم کا پیکج کروائے بغیر آپ کو انٹرنیٹ کی سپیڈ 1Mbps فراہم کی جائے گی۔ 20 میگا بائیٹ سے مراد یہ ہے کہ آپ یوٹیوب پر دو چھوٹی ویڈیوز دیکھ سکتے ہیں یا پھر 4 ایم پی تھری گانے ڈاؤنلوڈ کریں۔ سمجھانے کا مقصد یہ ہے کہ آپ یہ ڈیٹا پانچ منٹ کے اندر استعمال کرسکتے ہیں۔

• No cost for nest 19 MBs
• Again Rs. 20 will be the cost of 21^st MB
• Again no charges for next 19MBs
• This cycle of 20 MBs will continue the whole day

Terms for PAYG Ufone 3G Package:

• ·         For 1^st 20MB, 1Mbps is the speed and later it will be reduced to 512kbps for remaining day.
• Every day, volume accumulator will be reset at 00:00 hrs as it is done now.

Ufone Basic 3G Package (Up to 256 Kbps)

256kbps is the data speed of Basic Ufone 3G bucket and one can choose from six different bundles. The monthly 3G packages have data limits of 3GB, 1.5GB and 1GB while it also has half day, daily and weekly bundles.

With 512kbps speed, the Ufone Super 3G Package comes with monthly and weekly bundles. The details are given below.

Terms & Conditions (Ufone 3G Packages Prepaid):

• The remaining balance of the buckets can be checked by dialing *706#.
• Average likely speeds are dependent on factors like website visited, network load and handset used.
• From 1:00 AM to 9:00 PM, the Half day bucket can be used.
• Rs. 20/MB will be the charging of package after using bucket volume. Practically customer will pay Rs. 20 for 20MBs as first MB is payable at rate Rs. 20/MB while other 19MBs will be free.
• The speed will be reduced to 512kbps after the use of first 20MBs in a day while 1Mbps will be the speed for 1^st 20Mbs.
• If the customers subscribe different buckets at a single time, then the bucket will be given priority with lesser validity and higher throughput.
• To unsubscribe auto-renewal daily bucket, SMS UNSUB to 8804.
• To unsubscribe auto-renewal half day bucket, SMS UNSUB to 7810.
• Multiple subscriptions can be done on weekly and monthly buckets.
• 3G can be deactivated on your connection by dialing *7701#.

Ufone 3G Packages (Postpaid)

For postpaid customers, Ufone also offers 3G packages in various configurations and speeds. The maximum speed of Ufone postpaid 3G package costs Rs. 1200/month with monthly limit of 3GB at 3Mbps.

For prepaid customers, Basic PAYG Ufone 3G Package is similar to prepaid as first MB will be charged 20MB and no charges for next 19MBs.

• The customer will get 19 free MBS after charging for Rs. 20 on 1^st MB and again he’ll get 19 MBs free after Rs. 20 charge of 21^st MB and the cycle continues throughout the day.
• Throughput will be reduced to 512kbps after first 20MBs of the day as it will be 1Mbps.
• Every day at 00:00 hrs, volume accumulator will be reset as it happened now.
