The Android 4.4 KitKat is arriving on nexus 5 first and some of the other Nexus devices later. The update is announced by Motorola yesterday. Now, people are waiting for the announcement of Android OEM to bring the update to their devices. Motorola has delivered as the first one to confirm that you’d be expecting from it as a wholly owned subsidiary of Google.
About bringing Android 4.4 to some of their devices shortly, Motorola has confirmed through a post on Google+. The devices include Moto X, DROID Mini, DROID Ultra and DROID Maxx.
About the availability of the device actually, Motorola is making no promises but at least a confirmation of the update arriving at some near point in future, is also good to see.
