In order to control street crimes, police has prepared rules in collaboration with CPLC and electronics dealers through which shopkeepers will verify from CPLC before purchasing used mobile phones.

The easiest street crime in Karachi is to snatch mobile phone which is then easily sold in mobile phone market but now police has made a rule according to which it is necessary to dealers to verify from CPLC before purchasing used phones.

For this purpose, CPLC has prepared a form for buying and selling of used mobile phones through which a shopkeeper will take the CNIC and phone number of the seller before purchasing used phone and he will buy that phone after verification from CPLC. In order of not acting on this role, the shopkeeper will be arrested.
