Vivo Launches Y53s With A New Snapdragon Chipset

The smartphone maker, Vivo has released the successor of Y52, the new Y53s with a massive, battery, 90Hz refresh rate and a new Snapdragon chipset. The phone also launched with main camera upgrades.

Design and Display

The phone has same display specifications like its predecessor. It has same 6.58 inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080p screen resolution. Water drop notch and bottom bezel are still available. The main camera design is changed to the vertical dual lens setup just above an LED flash. The phone has power button and fingerprint sensor on the right side as in previous model.

Internal and Storage

The Vivo Y53s is moved to Snapdragon 480 5G SoC from Dimensity 720 5G amted with 8GB RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.1 storage. There is no expansion provided via SD Card.  The phone goes on OriginOS in China but has Funtouch OS topped by Android 11 globally

Cameras

The main camera of the handset is upgraded from 48MP to 64MP and still is a dual camera setup with a macro shooter. It has 8PM selfies camera.

Battery and Pricing

The Vivo Y53s is powered by a huge battery up to 5,000mAh with a support of 18W fast charging support via USB C port. The phone is available for sale in China at a price of 281USD.
