Vivo Starts Manufacturing Smartphones In Pakistan

Here is the good news for Pakistan that the Chinese phone maker Vivo is set to manufacture smartphones in Pakistan. The official sources of the tech giant confirmed this report.

For now it is not yet confirmed that which model the company will produce in Pakistan first. But we expect to see “Made in Pakistan” phones under the Vivo brand soon in Pakistan mobile market.

The Vivo’s phone assembling plant is located at M-3 Industrial Estate in Faisalabad that was established with the investment of 10 million dollars. Vivo plans to manufacture 1.5 million to 2.5 million phones in Pakistan per month.

The company officials claimed that, the Vivo’s phone manufacturing plant will help in saving imports and will increase the market shares of the company by 5 to 7 percent in Pakistan.

The mobile phone manufacturing in Pakistan by Vivo has become the 7th market locally. No more details are yet confirmed in this regard. But according to sources, Mr. Bruce Zhang, the factory head of the Vivo will officially announce about it in coming days.
