The Chinese tech Giant, Xiaomi is all set to bring the competitor to the Amazon’s Kindle tablets. The company is reportedly going to launch its own tablet Mi Reader Pro. The company claims that the Mi Reader will be available in the Chinese market only and later on company will take a global to launch the reader globally.

The Xiaomi’s Mi Reader Pro has a 7.8 inch large display with multiple customization features.The display is made using e ink technology with a density of 330 ppi pixels.

Internally, the Xiaomi Mi Reader Pro is powered by a quad core chipset and topped with 32GB storage and 2GB RAM and runs on the Android 8.1 on software front. The Xiaomi has also provided its own Xiao AI voice assistant to support the voice command on the tablet. Including Microsoft Office all formats of the books like .txt,.epub and pdf are supported on the Mi Reader. The Xiaomi Mi Reader is fueled with a 3,200mAh battery and offers an excellent standby time of 70 days. The Xiaomi Mi Reader will be offered at a price tag of $165.
