The Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi is rumored to be working on a foldable phone with 0 to 100% screen to body ratio.

According to details, the phone maker has recently patented with CNIPA under the number CN112839115A. The patent is surfacing on internet. In the publication a flexible screen module shown which has 100% screen to body ratio.

The Xiaomi’s patent explains the technology used in the module as well. The Xiaomi foldable phone has 2 displays a main display and a sub display connected with eachother using a hinge mechanism. A moveable camera is mounted on the sub display which can act as normal front display. The camera will also be used for selfies. In this way the phone gets a 100% screen to body ratio.

No more details about the foldable phone are revealed in the patent. It may be just an idea by Xiaomi and it may not be a real phone.
