Xiaomi Redmi 5A

Xiaomi has launched their cheapest Smartphone, the Redmi 5A. The phone was announced 2 months ago along with 2 pricey variants. This time company has started taking pre orders for the phone.

Design and Display

Compared with its old version redmi 4a it’s the same. As compared to 5a the 4a was more square accept for this difference there is no other difference in between these 2 even the colors in which the phone is available are also the same.

The mid range smart phones don’t have metal body. Xiaomi redmi series is the exception. There is no finger print sensor on the phone.

It has a 5 inch IPS LCD display which has the resolution of 720p.

Hardware, Software and Camera

Event the hardware is exactly the same as 4a, a snapdragon 425, with internal storage of 16 GB and 2 GB RAM. Storage can be expanded by the hybrid MicroSD card.

It has also Xiaomi homemade MIUI 9 and under that it runs android nougat (7.1).

The rear camera is of 13MP along with autofocus and a LED flash and the front camera is off 5 MP.

Battery, Price and Availability

It has a battery of 3000 mAh which is lower than the battery of 4a. the best thing about 5a is the price which is only RS 9200.

Pre orders have been started in china and starting it in Pakistan is not decided yet.

It offers a good quality and good camera performance, the MIUI 9 is well optimized and sits well on this hardware. It will not give you an experience of an expensive flagship but if you want to buy a mid range mobile then it’s the best.
