On last Friday, Xiaomi launched three Redmi models including Redmi 4A, Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime. These phones were released in Beijing, China.
There is a premium metal build in all the phones while Redmi 4 Prime and Redmi 4 have the identical dual SIM slots, fingerprint sensor on back and a unibody design with 2.5D curved glass display. All the phones have difference in CPU, inbuilt storage, display resolution and memory.
The details and specifications of these phones are given below.
Xiaomi Redmi 4A
In the whole series, the cheapest phone is the Redmi 4A. it is quite much similar to Redmi 3 or 3s. The main specs of the phone are 2 GB RAM, 5” 720p display, 13 MP main camera and 16 GB of expandable storage. It has 3120 mAH battery and it is powered by a Snapdragon 425.
The best thing about the device is its price which is just $74. By viewing the specs and superb build quality, it could be considered as the best entry level phone if it could be available worldwide.

Xiaomi Redmi 4
The standard edition of the new Redmi 4 also looks quite similar. Its specifications are almost similar to Redmi 3. The similar features include 5” 720p screen, 16 GB expandable internal storage and 2 GB RAM. But the 13 MP camera is upgraded with phase detection autofocus and battery is 4100 mAh.
It has a different processor as the Snapdragon 616 is replaced with Snapdragon 430 which is less powerful but saves battery. The always on fingerprint scanner is there at its back while its refined metal design is also different from its predecessor. As compared to its standard, the price is quite affordable at just $104.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime
As compared to the standard version, the Redmi 4 Prime is slightly expensive. It has a 5” full HD (1080 x 1920) display and it is powered by 3 GB of RAM, 2 GHz octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU. It has a huge 32 GB internal storage which is also expandable.
As compared to other designs, it also offers connectivity of Bluetooth v4.2. Most of other specs are similar to Redmi 4. The device will start selling in China at the end of this month for $132.
