The previous devise, iPad mini was not equipped with dual core Cortex A9 processer, which is made available in the present iPad mini 2. Apple has also provided the chipset Apple A7 with the availability of the ARMv8-based Cyclone cores, which is ahead of A9 generation. The GPU added in the device is developed with power to VR SGX 6th series.

It was also rumors that Apple iPad mini is provided with TouchID and is provided with regular Home button. It is also 0.3 mm thick and is 23 g heavy if compared with the previous one. iOS 7 is provided in the Apple iPad mini 2 to run quickly and the storage capacity is provided in it from 16 GB to 128 GB. The device, iPad mini 2 is made available in the market in various colors from black, white, space grey and silver and some other specifications like 3G, LTE version and Wi-Fi.

Apple iPad mini 2 will be marketed at $399 and device will be exhibited in market in November, which is higher than the previous one to $339. But the cost of the original iPad mini will be made in the market at $299.
