CES 2022: Sony Introduces PlayStation VR2 Headset

During the global event, Consumer Electronic Show CES 2022 held in Las Vegas, the Japanese tech giant, Sony unveiled new PlayStation VR Headset.

The company has not explained the details and design of the new Sony Headset but it will support the PlayStation 5 and the latest PS VR2 Sense Controller.

The Sony PlayStation VR2 will come with a 4K HDR OLED display with a 110-degree field of view, and features a refresh rate of 90Hz or 120Hz, with resolutions of 2000×2040 pixels.

Now, there will no need for external cameras and sensors as Sony is planning to add embedded cameras, 3D Audio and eye tracking sensors in the new Headset.

The company has also confirmed that the user’s eye will be tracked in real-time by new headset and will experience a reality. Adaptive triggers and haptic feedback of the VR2 controllers also offer a best experience.
