Honor Is Set To Launch Folding Phone Soon: Report

After separation from parent company Huawei, Honor has aligned a number of smartphones to release under its own brand. The phone maker has announced its flagships series, the Honor 50 recently. The company is now reportedly going to launch its own first folding phone.

According to a recent report by Display Supply Chain, the honor’s is gearing up to launch its foldable phone soon. According to report, the phone is called, the Honor Magic Fold.

Display Supply Chain claims that the Honor Foldable phone will have a BOE and Visionox in-folding display. The report further claimed that the phone will hit the market by the end of this year.  Before this other leading brands Samsung, Xiaomi and Vivo have scheduled to launch their foldable phones.  Motorola is expected to join the line by 2022.

However, the South Korean tech giant Samsung is bringing the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The Z Fold 3 will come with an under display camera. The circular polarizer in this phone will also be replaced with a color filter. It will help in decreasing the thickness of the display and in increasing the brightness as well as power efficiency. The S Pen will also be available with Galaxy Z Fold 3. It will also have a digitizer and a shutter roof protection layer under screen.

Moving towards, the Honor’s Magic Fold, the leaks has not provided more details yet. But the reports and news will come in next months. Stay tuned with us to know about it.
