Few months ago, HTC re-launched its smartphone business in Pakistan. Since then, we have seen few devices available in Pakistan and one of the best among them is HTC One X9. In The Box

In contrast to many other OEM, the box of HTC One X9 is quite large. It is wrapped in a transparent plastic film where a booklet and few cards are present. HTC Damage Protection Warranty is available in a card while Zong is providing a 6 GB free data (1 GB per month) with HTC One X9 through Zong free internet voucher. You will also get a Rs. 500 FoodPanda voucher after opening the box.

Apart from that, you will also get stuff like a user manual, a 1.5A charger, high quality HTC earphones and a microUSB charging cable.

Looks and Build Quality

A premium unibody metal design is the specialty of this Taiwanese manufacturer which is also available in HTC One X9. According to company’s claim, its metal body feels like silk. It’s not easy to hold this phone due to its 170 grams weight, slipperiness of metal body and 5.5” screen with large bezels at the top and bottom. But you can easily grip the phone due to its curved back and 8 mm thickness. You will feel good with HTC One X9 if you like big phones.

Display and dual front facing BoomSound speakers are available at the front. ‘Home, back and Task Switcher’ keys are present below the display. A large selfie camera and few sensors are present above the display. Due to the use of curved Gorilla Glass, the front glass of HTC One X9 seems a bit blend.

There is a power button and volume rocker at the right side of the HTC One X9. Above these, a flap is present for holding the primary SIM card slot. There is only a single flap on the other side of the phone which is there to hold the microSD card and secondary SIM.

At the bottom, there is a microUSB slot while there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the center of top right. A 13 MP main camera with a dual LED flash is available at the back while HTC branding is also present here.

The 3000 mAH battery is not access able underneath due to smartpone’s unibody metal build. Copper Rose, Carbon Grey, Topaz Gold and Opal Silver the color options for the device.

Under the Hood

Last year, HTC One X9 was released while it came in Pakistan after six months. There is an octa core 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 chipset, 32 GB internal storage and 3 GB of RAM in this HTC device. The device has the power to run for several years as its processing package is equal to Snapdragon 810 devices.

HTC One X9 features 5.5” 1080p Super LCD screen with IPS panel, high contrast and good colors. There is a pixel density of 401 PPI for the full HD resolution. There is a 13 MP main camera with autofocus, 4K video recording, pro mode and HTC Zoe. There is a front camera of 5MP with 1080p recording.

Android Marshmallow is the OS of HTC One X9 along with Sense UI of HTC. A 3000 mAH battery powers the device which helps to run the whole day even with heavy use. You can charge the power quite quickly with the use of fast charger.

You can get several connectivity options in the device also that include LTE support, GPS with BDS & GLONASS, dual band Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 4.2.

The One X9 looks quality and premium one in the first look. Damage protection warranty and free voucher are additional features of this high end like device. Though the features of the device are quite much high end side but its price is relatively cheaper.
