MCB has introduced new feature in their banking system and now the customers of MCB can get the benefit of online shopping and also make the online payments to the users. MCB has enabled its debit cards for use for the internet shopping and online payments. The details of the MCB debit cards shows that how the customers can use their debit card on the internet for online transaction.
The official of MCB has confirmed that the MCB debit cards are now enabled by default for use as internet transaction and the users can generate the activation request to get online shopping with the use of MCB debit cards. The official also confirmed that there is no transaction fee, incurred on the online shopping through the MCB cards.
How to Activate MCB Debit Card for Online Shopping
- First you dial MCB Helpline (111-000-622) to make contact with the relevant person.
- Then you ask support representative to enable your debit card to carry out online shopping
- Customers should provide all requested verification info, which they ask from them
- The activation of MCB debit card is now done.
- Your MCB Debit card will be activated for online shopping for 15 days
The customers need to know that once their MCB debit card is activated, they can do online shopping and make online payment. They should note that the activation of the MCB debit card will be deactivated after 15 days automatically and they will have to re-activate it once again, if they need to do their internet shopping and making online payment.
When the customers carry out their internet shopping or making online payment, then there are no transaction charges to carry out such activities through MCB cards. The customers will have to pay the 3.5% currency exchange fee, if the online payment is made in any currency other than PKR.
