In order to provide mental peace to the parents about the whereabouts of their kids, the ‘Guardian Watch’ has just been announced by Mobilink that will be available to purchase from 22nd February 2016. With the help of one button SOS call, this wearable watch will act as a real-time GPS tracker. Mobilink hasn’t mentioned the price but it is told that it is quite affordable as compared to the features of the phone.

An app will allow for GPS location tracking, voice calls, text messages to the wearer and will control all the devices under the Mobilink wearable range. Along with that, addition of more watches and users with single app, multi-devices setting and a server connecting setting for security reasons are also possible through this app.

Only oen button click will operate the ‘Guardian Watch’ while parents will be able to use its advance features for customization of watch’s setting, produce text and voice messages to the watch, make secret auto-reply calls to the watch and locate the position of one or more kids. Maximum 3 guardian numbers for SOS calling can be add to the watch by the parents as the call will be diverted to the next number if the initial number is busy.

Ali Khan, head of Mobilink Data and Devices told that despite being similar to the Guardian app, this match is more secure and easy to use as parents can take care of those children with this watch who could not hold the smart phones. He added that the watch will allow the parents to stay connected and look after their children to protect them from going outside the boundary of their home without disturbing the freedom of children.

From 22nd March 2016, the watch will be available to purchase while biometrically verified SIM is necessary to operate this watch. The buyer of the watch will also get a master application and a USB charger.
