In 2017, Nokia managed to regain its reputation with the launch of feature phone New 3310 along with the smartphones Nokia 3, 5 and 6. But Nokia 3, 5 and 6 were mid range devices and it was important for Nokia to look forward for the launch of its flagship device in the market in order to compete its rivals. Now, the company is launching Nokia 8 for this purpose.
Nokia copies release of this latest flagship with other flagship releases initially through leaked images and then by using press release, specifications and photos. Before the official release of Nokia 8, we will show major specs and expectations.
Design & Display
Nokia 8 is available with a premium full metal body. Like other modern Nokia smartphones, the company will use 6000 series aluminum for construction of Nokia 8 that will make it durable and strong.
You will get the fingerprint scanner at the front. At the right side of phone, you will get both the volume rocker and the power button. You will have Nokia branding, dual cameras and a LED flash at the back.

Cameras
There will be dual primary cameras in Nokia 8 while both have 13 MP resolution. But it is not know about the main function of dual cameras as they are for monochromatic, wide-angle lens or telephoto. But the feature of Carl Zeiss Optics is the best part of these cameras. The company recently made an agreement with Nokia to provide Zeiss Optics for their cameras and it is known for making superb optics for camera and smartphones. This is almost confirmed news because the leaked image of Nokia 8 also shows branding of Zeiss on its rear side. 8 MP is the expected resolution of the front camera.
Performance
Despite having best performance and design, the current smartphones of Nokia lack flagship hardware as they are budget phones. If you want these flagship specs then Nokia 8 is for you.
According to rumors, there will Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor in Nokia 8 which is the same one present in Samsung Galaxy S8. You will also get 4 or 6 GB of RAM. We are expecting it to be 4 GB because Nokia said during launch of Nokia 6 that 3 GB RAM is quite enough for their devices and only few edition of Nokia 6 had 4 GB of RAM. But either 4 or 6 GB of RAM, we are sure that these specs will provide excellent performance.
Software
Like other Nokia smartphones, the Nokia will have stock Android in it. At the launch of Nokia 8, the upcoming Android O will be close to official launch but it might not be pre-install in the device but likely we will get an upgrade to Android O few months after its launch.
Launch Date
According to latest rumors, the launch date of Nokia 8 is 31st July 2017. The price of this Nokia flagship device is expected to be between $650 and $700 which also proves that it is a flagship device.
