Makers of the CamSpeed camera benchmark, the Sofica team, spotted the Nokia RM-980, aka Normandy, aka Nokia X inhteir results’ database. They shared few specs that are not normally displayed with the benchmark results but were recorded.

The detected camera was a 3Mp fixed-focus shooter and the Nokia X, which did the benchmark, was the dual-SIM version.

Until now, rumors claimed a 5MP camera, meaning the single and dual-SIM versions have different cameras or they could be wrong. It’s also possible that from detecting the camera resolution properly, unfinished software prevented the benchmark.

Android 4.1.2 is run by the Nokia X, but it will feature Nokia customization and it won’t be pure Android. Other specs for the phone include a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 4” WVGA screen, a microSD card slot and 4GB storage. On what kind of video the camera will record, unfortunately there’s no info.

As an Asha device in March, the phone is supposed to launch. Like an Asha, it even looks.
