The Chinese tech giant Oneplus is set to launch the highly anticipated series of the smartphones dubbes OnePlus 9 on 23rd March 2021. The phone maker has officially announced the launch date recently. The OnePlus 9 series consists of two variants including Oneplus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. Before launching the company has officially some specifications and key features of the phone. The company has also told about the warranty period of the series.
According to latest announcement of the CEO OnePlus Pete Lau, the Oneplus 9 will be offered in two years official warranty. The CEO has not mentioned whether the Warranty will be offered globally or will be only for China. This decision of providing two years warranty will truly attract the consumers because mostly smartphones in the market are offered only with one year standard warranty.
As far the specifications, the OnePlus OnePlus 9 will be a 5G supported variant. The handset will come with a 6.5 inch FHD+AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Internally the phone will be equipped with Snapdragon 888 accompanied by 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G is will have a bigger display of 6.7 inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and Internals are quite similar to bases variant. Both phones only differ from eachother in terms of camera specifications.
