The sub brand of Xiaomi, Redmi has once again launched the Redmi Note 8 2021 with an update. The company launched the original model few months before. The Redmi Note 8 original model crosses the sales up to 25 million globally and now the company brought the phone again to celebrate the milestone.

The Redmi Note 8 2021 is similar to the original model in terms of specification and design but the company has replaced the MediaTek Helio G85 instead of Snapdragon 665 SoC.

Design and Display

The new Redmi Note 8 2021 has a 6.3-inch LCD with 1080p resolution and a waterdrop notch selfie camera. The phone is also featured by Gorilla Glass 5 for screen protection.

Internals and Storage

As far the innards, the phone is equipped with MediaTek Helio G85 as mentioned above and mated with two memory configurations including 64GB and 128GB, both with 4GB RAM. The phone goes with Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on software side.

Cameras

The Redmi Note 8 2021 has a main camera of 48MP accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a duo of 2MP depth and macro lenses. The phone is equipped with a 13MP selfie camera in a waterdrop notch. Only 1080p FPS videos, down from 4K 30 FPS clips can be recorded on the main camera of the phone.

Battery and Pricing

The Redmi Note 8 2021 is is powered by a powerful battery of 4,000mAh battery with a support of 18W fast charging speed. The company has not yet revealed the Price of Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021 yet but it is expected to come at the same price tag like the original.
