Redmi Reveals Design of K40 In A Recent Leak

The sub brand of Xiaomi, Redmi is set to bring the two highly anticipated phones in the Redmi K Series this week. The phone by Redmi are Redmi K40 and the Redmi K40 Pro. The company has already offered the phones for pre bookings in China and the phones are set to be launched on 25th February 2021.

Before, the launch of these phones, the Redmi has surfaced the teaser images on its official Weibl account. The images revealed the back panel design of the phones which are much likely to be similar with that of Xioami Mi 11 series.

The image shows that the Redmi K40 has water like pattern rear panel with diagonal strokes from upper right to down. In another poster, the Redmi’s GM, Lu Weibing has also confirmed that the phone will be powered by a 4520mAh battery. The image also shows that phone include Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio support.

The Redmi K40 and K40Pro will come with a 6.67-inch E4 Samsung AMOLED panel with 1080p resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole cut out for the selfie camera.

The Redmi K40 Pro variant will be equipped by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC and on the other side the vanilla Redmi K40 will be powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC. Both phones will have 8GB DDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Other features of the K40 and K40 Pro include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Dual Stereo Speakers, and more. The main difference between two is rear camera. Both have AI triple-camera setup on the back the standard model will most likely sport a 64 MP main sensor while the Pro model will feature a 108 MP sensor.
