Albeit in limited markets as with the eight-core Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung is planning to release an Exynos octa-core version of the Galaxy S5, according to a last night release of an official Samsung infographic.
The infographic listed a 2.1GHz octa-core Exynos 5 processor model, though Samsung only mentioned the 2.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor for the Galaxy S5 last night.
Since, the infographic has been redacted with any mention of removal from sight of the eight-core variant.
For the octa-core variant, a roll-out would be very limited, so if and when it is unveiled, don’t expect it to arrive in UK.

Samsung Galaxy S5 octa core

With a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S5 features a 5.1” full 1080p HD super AMOLED display.
Samsung has introduced a super-fast focusing time of less than 0.3 seconds for its featured 16MP rear camera with 2MP front-facing camera.
The S5 is still encased within a plastic body that is now adorned with a perforated design on the rear and S5 is IP67 dust and water resistant.
Coming with internal storage of either 16GB or 32GB, the microSD card support up to 64GB is still offered by S5.
Embedded within the home button, the new features of the S5 include an iPhone 5S Touch ID rivaling finger print scanner. The digit will have to be swipe on the sensor to make it recognize you.
To help you stay fit, the S5 also features on the rear a heart rate monitor which works together with the new S Health app, calorie tracker and integrated pedometer.
