The flip phone market is having a revival Samsung, world’s biggest smartphone maker, is still fond of this flip phone. The South Korean company has released the Leader 8 in China which is a flip phone but its specs are better than most of the smartphones.
Displays and Design
This is a different type of flip phones that is made with aviation grade aluminum instead of plastic which makes it durable. There is a camera, fingerprint scanner and a LED flash at the back while it includes wireless charging. Few other important features are Samsung Pay via NFC and S Voice.
After opening the phone, you will get control pad and buttons. These buttons can help you in tasks like taking a picture or opening a phone.
The Leader 8 has two displays and both are 4.2” full HD Super AMOLED. Despite being 1080p, they are very sharp due to small display size.
One display is at the outside of the phone while the other will appear after you open the flip. You can check notifications and necessary information like time, date and call reminder through the display on the outside.

Hardware
There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 CPU along with 4 GB RAM in the Leader 8. It shows that performance of the Leader 8 will be fine. It also has a reasonable 64 GB internal storage which can also be expanded via microSD card.
Cameras and Batteries
On the Leader 8, the primary camera is 12 MP with a LED flash and f/1.7 aperture. We are expecting it to provide superb pictures. There is a 5 MP camera at the front which is for decent selfies.
A 2,300 mAh battery is there to power the device which is supported by wireless charging. This battery is fair enough for a flip phone of this size and it can last couple of days with a single charge
