There is no doubt Samsung has a large stock of Note 7 phones while recycling of these phones is a huge problem. But Samsung is working in another plan to solve this problem.

In limited numbers, the company will bring the Note 7 device back in the market. So far, the markets of these phones haven’t been released but it has been told that these devices will be sold after consulting with analyzing local demand and consulting local regulatory bodies and labeled as “rental phones or refurbished phones”.

Environmental organization “Greenpeace” has supported this move as it can save from a climatic disaster. Since its announcement of discontinuation of Note 7, the future of these 4.3 million devices was a major concern.

Samsung is also planning to use parts of the remaining Note 7 phones on the upcoming phones but it hasn’t been decided yet. An OTA update in the coming days will make it impossible for un repaired phones to charge anymore.

But Note 7 will not be available in any major market as it has already been banned in these areas.

We are expecting that such hazard will not happen again as the company has found the 2 manufacturing faults behind the loss of $5.5 billion. Samsung is planning to launch latest flagship S8 this Wednesday and its timing for this statement is not strange.
