The world of smartphones has seen a rise in the popularity of foldable devices recently, even though they often come with high prices. Tecno, a player in this field, caught attention earlier this year with its creative folding phone, the Phantom V Fold. This phone costs almost half as much as other foldable phones like the Galaxy Z Fold 5, shaking up the market. And now, there’s another rival about to enter the scene.

Soon, Tecno plans to reveal its new creation: the Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G. This is a mid-range flip phone that aims to attract budget-conscious customers. What’s different about this phone is how it looks. Instead of the usual way of having the camera and the screen separated, Tecno did something special. They put a round screen on the outside that’s surrounded by the camera, making it really interesting to look at.

The leaks also tell us about the Phantom V Flip 5G’s features. There are two cameras on the back, one with 64 megapixels and another with 13 megapixels. The front camera has 32 megapixels. The screen on the outside is 1.32 inches big and uses a special kind of technology called AMOLED, which makes the colors look great. When you open the phone, you’ll find a big screen that’s 6.9 inches across and shows things in really clear quality. Tecno has lots of plans for this phone, showing us that they want to make something different and affordable.

Inside the phone, there’s a special chip called MediaTek Dimensity 8050. It works together with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of space for storing your photos, apps, and other things. The Phantom V Flip 5G is similar to Tecno’s Tab-foldable phone because it has two batteries. One of them is 1165 milliamp-hours big and the other is 2735 milliamp-hours big. If you put them together, that’s like having a battery with a total of 4000 milliamp-hours.

This phone will start with a new version of Android called Android 13. You can get it in different colors like Minimal Black, Film White, and Periwinkle Purple. It will also work with more than 15 5G networks, which means it can connect to the internet really fast. After showing us a few hints in the coming month, the phone will officially come out in October.
