The Smartphone companies now plans minimize the large display bezels in their phones and trying to makes waterdrop notches and punch holes smaller for the selfie cameras. But the Chinese phone maker OnePlus is going to built a tiny camera in the small top bezel.

OnePlus Selfi Camera

In 2020, OnePlus has already patented a design that was spotted by LetsGoDigital and was expected to be apply this patent on OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The patent was released last week.

The design patent suggests that the phones will come with a tiny selfie camera on the small top bezel. This design makes the OnePlus able to manufacture phones without notches or punch holes. The image also shows that selfie camera is cheaper than digging hole in the display for camera.

For now, this is just a leaked and rumored patent, not officially confirmed by OnePlus. But hopefully it will be a best solution to avoid large bezels, punch holes and notches, if comes true.
