The Chinese phone maker has officially launched the flagship phone OnePlus 10 pro in china with major upgrades including a more power-efficient display, Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, faster charging, and new features all over the board.
Design and Display
The OnePlus 10 Pro has a display of 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED screen with 2K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, HDR10+ and curved edges on the sides.
Internals and Storage
Internally, the OnePlus 10 Pro is equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which is common to be available in all android high-end phones in 2022. As for the storage, the handset will have 8 to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1.
In addition, the Phone comes with a new cooling system is “55% the size of an A4 paper sheet”, or about 340 sq.cm. This feature will help to avoid the SOC 8Gen1 from overheating during multitasking and battery during charging as well.
On the software side, OnePlus 10 Pro run on Android 12 topped with ColorOS in China but may come with OxygenOS globally.
Cameras
The OnePlus is manufacturing the main camera setup in collaboration with HasselBlad. The OnePlus 10 Pro is equipped with the primary camera on the back is a 48MP Sony IMX89 sensor sized at 1/1.43″, the ultrawide camera is a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor with a 150-degree FOV. Finally, the 8MP telephoto camera has 3.3x optical zoom. On the front, the handset is offered with a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor behind and an f/2.4 lens in a punch hole for selfies.
Battery and Pricing
The OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by a massive battery of 5,000mAh with a fast charging up to 80W which is the fastest charging for any Chinese brand till date. The phone has a wireless charging up to 50W as well.
The OnePlus 10 Pro will come in two color options like Green and Black. The handset will be available in China at the price of $737. There is no word for global launch of the phone currently. Stay with us till official global launch of the phone is announced by company.
