Redmi K40 Series Will Have Snapdragon 888 in Two Variants

Xiaomi’s sub brand is ready to unveil its flagship K40 series next month as confirmed by the company’s General Manager Lu Weibing. After the official statement of the company, the Redmi Product Director Wang Teng Thomas announced that two variants of the K40 series will be powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset.

The two variants with Snapdragon 888 are going to break cover this time are Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 pro Zoom. The vanilla variant is expected to be powered by a new MediaTek chip or the new Snapdragon 7-series sm7350 chip by Qualcomm.

According to Redmi, the K40 series will be available with starting price of $462 and featured with most high priced flat display and a battery of 4000mAh as well.  Other rumors also suggest that the phones will have punch hole display and high refresh rate. The detailed specifications will be known right after the launch of the smartphones in the series.
