The South Korean tech giant, Samsung has already launched the F 62 as Samsung Galaxy M62 in India. Now the company is gearing up for the global launch of the phone. Like other global markets, the phone will make its official debut in Pakistan under same name. According to Samsung’s Malaysian outlet, the phone will go official on 3rd March 2021 and in Asia and Pakistan, the Galaxy M62 will be launched very soon.
Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy M62 receives a new and unique design as compared to other models previously launched in M series. The phone has thin bezels on the display and is housed with a squared quad camera setup. Backplate and the chassis are made of plastic. As far as the display size is concerned, the M 62 will have a 6.7” Super AMOLED+ display with a hole-punched and a full HD resolution. The brightness of the phone is 420 nits and it will have an aspect ratio of 20:9. Galaxy M62 is only available in gray and blue options. The build includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and NFC support.
Internals and Storage
Internally the M62 is upper mid-range device. Samsung Galaxy M62 runs on the 7nm Exynos 9825 chipset (the same flagship mobile platform that powered the Galaxy Note 10 series). It comes in two memory variants, 8GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB.
Cameras
The main camera will be 64 MP f/1.8 wide, 12 MP 123˚ wide-angle, 5 MP macro, and 5 MP depth sensors. It will have a 32MP camera as well for selfies.
Battery and Pricing
The Samsung Galaxy M62 is powered by a massive 7000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The company has not yet announced the price of the phone officially but it is expected to be available around the price tag of Rs. 52,000 in Pakistan.
