Toshiba releases its latest Business laptop

Toshiba is trying to make its name in the laptop market by introducing latest models despite that the company is not famous for manufacturing laptops.

The new Tecra X40 laptop has been released by the company while business is the primary focus of this laptop which has few unique features that distinguish it from its rivals. Due to weight of 2.76 pounds, the footprint has been reduced while the device is available with 14” 1080p display.

The laptop is runs on Core i5-7300U, the 7th generation CPU by Intel. Organizations can use “Built to Order” program for choosing their required configuration that would help them to purpose bulk of laptops with the specifications they need.

256 GB of PCIe SSD and 2133 MHz, 8 GB DDR4 memory are the major specs of Tecra X40. TPM 2.0 security chip, Windows Hello for facial recognition, biometric verification and Intel vPro are the security features of the laptop.

HDMI, USB 3.0, 2 USB-C ports, 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, headphone jack and memory card slots are used to provide connection in the device.

Connectivity can be improved by using Thunderbolt 3 enabled USB Type-C ports while they are available with the addition of three accessories and displays. Harman Kardon speakers are there to ensure perfect audio quality. The laptop is charged by 40 Wh battery while it comes to Windows 10 Pro by default.

$1329.99 is the starting price of Tecra X40 whichis not cheap but we can expect this price from a laptop made exclusively for business. $299.99 will be the price of the Thunderbolt 3 dock that will be available separately.
