Google’s attempts to maintain secrecy around its forthcoming Pixel phones have once again proven ineffective, with the Pixel 8 Pro being the latest casualty. A brief appearance of the Porcelain white variant of this highly anticipated Google flagship on the Google Store has provided yet another glimpse of its confirmed design.

Despite the image’s limited quality, it reveals an updated unified visor housing the purported 50MP main, 64MP ultrawide, and 48MP telephoto camera modules. Positioned alongside these cameras are the LED flash and an infrared temperature sensor. This sensor is rumored to enable users to gauge their body temperature by aiming it at their temple area for a few seconds.

The Pixel 8 Pro is poised to feature a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display boasting QHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Driving this flagship is the upcoming Tensor G3 chipset, supported by a substantial 12GB RAM and the choice of 128GB or 256GB storage configurations. Powering the device is a robust 4,950 mAh battery, complemented by 27W charging capabilities. Out of the box, the Google Pixel 8 Pro will run on the fresh Android 14 operating system. The anticipated launch for the Pixel 8 lineup is set for October.
