5G Launched Soon in Pakistan

The Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms highlighted the progress of the country and said that the government will launch the fifth generation (5G) cellular services to the users to get the faster connectivity.

The users, who have already have the access to the 3G and 4G technology, they will be able to get the benefits from the new advanced mobile network technology after making the launch of 5G in few coming days.

The US Embassy and the Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) has organized the ‘Pakistan StartUp Cup’ competition for young entrepreneurs and he said that Pakistan and America are working jointly on the ‘Knowledge corridor’ and there will be about 10,000 Pakistani students, who will complete their PhDs from American Universities.

There were total 950 teams belonging to Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Faisalabad, who participated in the competition for the prize of about Rs 1 million. He further added that there will be big hopes for the youth and they have great potential to contribute to development and prosperity of the country.

Speaking in the event, he said that the government granted about Rs.250 billion to Higher Education Commission (HEC) in last four years so that HEC can promote higher education in the country. The winning team of the competition was ‘Cowlar’, which was belonged to Islamabad and it has developed the start up plan to sell the smart collars for cows and they can provide help to the farmer so that they improve the health of the herd, optimize the dairy operations and enhance milk yields.
