Facebook Inc is owned the popular messaging service, WhatsApp and this service has faced the widespread global outage that continued for about two and half hour and after that it was fixed by the company and now the service of WhatsApp is normal.

The company sent an email in which it is stated that the users of WhatsApp faced the inconvenience for few hours all over the world. The company apologized over the inconvenience of this service. It is also reported that the service of WhatsApp was not provided to the clients in different parts of the world like India, Brazil, United States and Canada and the affected people has to face the issue. These people used service on Microsoft Corp’s Windows mobile OS, Apple Inc’s iOS operating system and Alphabet Inc’s Android. In Brazil, the class of professionals relies on the messaging service and WhatsApp was down for about two and half hours and the users had to switch to rival system Telegram, which has gained the millions of customers in Brazil after these two last outages results from the orders of the court in Brazil.

There are about 1.2 billion people around the world, who use WhatsApp and it is key tool for communications and commerce in various countries. This service was provided to the users by the Facebook, which they acquired in 2014 for $19 billion.
