The ex sub brand of Huawei, Honor is set to make another addition in its Play series of smartphones. The Honor Play lineup comprises of affordable smartphones and now the phone maker is adding another cheaper handset in the series called Play 5T pro. It is going to be an upgraded variant of already launched Honor Play 5T Youth with a better display, processor, camera, and more. Let’s discuss what we get in this upgraded version.
Design and Display
The Honor Play 5T Pro has a same display size like previous variant but the resolution this time is increased to 1080p with a punch hole-selfie camera and bezels of the display are now comparatively smaller than before. The fingerprint sensor is still placed on the side on the top of the power button. On the back side, the design of the camera setup is changed. The camera in this model is vertical instead of square shaped camera setup as in previous variant.

Internal and Storage
The Honor Play 5T Pro has also been upgraded in terms of processor. The phone is now equipped with MediTek Helio G80 instead of Helio P35. The internal storage of the phone is 8GB RAM and 128GB. The memory card can also be inserted in a given slot in the SIM tray to expand the internal storage further. On the software side, the Play 5T Pro will go on Android 10 and only international variant will come with a support of Google services.
Cameras
The Honor 5T Pro is also upgraded in terms of camera specifications. The phone camera is replaced by 64MP sensor alongwith 2MP depth sensor instead of 13MP main camera. The ultrawide and macro lenses on the Youth model are no longer there. This camera can record 1080p videos at 30 FPS. On the front side, the phone has 16MP punch hole selfie camera.
Battery and Pricing
The company has installed the downgrade battery of 4,000 mAh but with the same support for 22.5W fast charging. It can fill up the battery to 53% in 30 minutes. The Honor Play 5T Pro will be available for $232 in Magic Night Black and Titanium Silver color options.
