LG is all set to release its entry level W10 Alpha smartphone to add new device to increase its budget phone lineup in a competition with Chinese OEMs. The smart phone was decides to be launched at the Mobile World Congress MWC 2020 but the event has been cancelled let’s see when the company releases it.

Design and Display

The LG W10 Alpha has a display size of a 5.7 inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution. At the top of the display a water drop notch is also mounted. The phone has a fairly thick bottom bezel. The screen body ratio of the device is 86.83 and an aspect ratio of 19:9.

A single primary camera with LED flash unit is mounted at the top left corner. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor. It is also featured with a snappy face unlock.

Internals and Storage

Same as Alcatel 1s, the LG W10 Alpha is also mounted with an unknown Unisoc SC9863A SoC. It features eight Cortex A55 cores that are clocked at 1.6Ghz. The memory and storage of the device is coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable onboard storage.

Cameras

The W10 Alpha is equipped with 8 megapixel rear camera with support for a variety of filters, scenes, bokeh mode, and portrait mode. It can record video clips at 30 FPS in 1080p resolution. The front camera comes with an 8 megapixel sensor that supports AI beauty mode for clear and sharp selfies.

Battery and Pricing

The LG W10 Alpha is powered with a huge battery of 3450mAh that provides up to 12 hours of LTE call time, 16 hours of normal call time, 29 hours of music playback and 5 hours of video playback. Given the modest specifications it has, the W10 Alpha should last you through a couple of days on a full charge.

The LG W1o Alpha will be released in India for $140.
