Motorola Launches Two New Modular Phones

New technologies are fading the future of modular phones but it seems several companies are still experimenting with these phones. Now Motorola has launched two such phones, Moto Z and Moto Z Force.

Like the LG G5, you can exchange the bottom part of the Moto Z with a new one by replacing its back cover with a new cover. The device also includes designer covers and a 2200 mAh battery cover. Apart from that, the device has several other special covers as well.

You can get a better and much suited 16 pin interface used by Moto G which is a contrast to the LG. price of these devices are not yet announced that Motorola will surely keep them below their rivals. Many accessories of the devices will remain in the market for next two generations that will help the company to sell these devices for a longer period.

There are several similarities between the Moto Z and the Z Force including a 5.5” Super AMOLED quad HD displays, Snapdragon 820, 32/ 64 GB of expandable storage and 4 GB RAM. At the front, there are 5 MP cameras with LED flash and auto focus along with a fingerprint scanner on the front.

But there are several dissimilarities in both the devices as Moto Z is 5 mm thick phone while thickness of Z Force is 7 mm. an important feature of Z Force is the presence of ShatterShield which protects its display from crack and shatter.

Back cameras of both the devices are also different. The traditional one has 13 MP main camera with dual flash while the Z Force contains a huge 21 MP camera. Moto Z and Z Force have 2600 mAH nad 3500 mAh batteries respectively.

There is turbo charging in both the devices but the 15 minutes charging will run the Moto Z for 8 hours and the same amount of charging will run Z Force to 15 hours. There is a difference of 2 mm in design of both the devices. Both these devices will be available from September 2016.

Though, the prices of both these devices haven’t been released yet but we are expecting them to be less than the Galaxy S7and iPhone.
