The Xiaomi’s sub brand Redmi has recently decided to discontinue its flagship device Redmi K30 Pro less than a year after its launch. The General Manager of Redmi brand, Lu Weibing made this announcement and it was officially confirmed by the President of Xiaomi China.

Remember that it is not the first flagship announced to be discontinued; the company has already discontinued Redmi MI 10 Pro 5G eight months after its release.

On Xiaomi’s official website, these both devices are not listed now and listed as “Out of Stock” on Xiaomi’s official store on partner sites. Both Smartphones came with top-notch specifications, including a large display, a big battery, Snapdragon 865, and a quad-camera setup.

The company has not revealed the reason behind the sudden discontinuation. However, successors for both smartphones are about to be announced (probably later this month). So, maybe Xiaomi is just clearing the ground for upcoming smartphones, even though it has never done this before. Nevertheless, more details about the decision will be revealed with time.
