Right after the announcement of launch date of Redmi K40 series officially by Xiaomi, images leaked on the internet suggesting the key specifications of both Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro variants of Redmi K40 series.

According to images, the both phones will have a 6.81-inch AMOLED panel with 1440p resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.

As far as the internals are concerned, the screenshots show that the Vanilla phone will come with Snapdragon 870 and Pro variant will come with Snapdragon 888 SoC. The moniker Redmi K40S is expected to be equipped by Dimensity 1200.

The Pro model of the series is expected to have 12 GB of RAM, 5000 mAh battery while the Vanilla model will have 8 GB RAM and 4000 mAh battery. Both phones will be featured with a 108 MP main camera, however, the ultra-wide or telephoto modules will be different. The Pro will come with a 13MP + 5MP setup while the vanilla model will feature an 8MP + 5MP setup.

The Redmi K40 has pale blue variant same like the Horizon Blue Xiaomi Mi 11. As expected, it has a flat display and a curved back.The K40 Pro is a black/gray variant with a similar design to the Redmi K40. It also has a centered punch hole and a four-camera array like the standard model. Unfortunately, this time, the phones are not featured with the uninterrupted display that K-series was famous for. The K40 Pro is expected to come at the price tag of $464. Remaining two variants will come at low price tag comparatively.
