South Korean technology giant is all set to bring the biggest smartphone camera for the brilliant photography experience in smartphones.

The smartphone maker has reportedly announced to introduce ISOCELL HP1 which is regarded as first 200MP camera sensor around the globe.

The sensor ISOCELL is comprised of 0.6milli meter native pixel. The innovative ChameleonCell technology is used in it. Due to this technology, the sensor renders with 2×2 and 4×4 pixel binning. It has an ability to capture 8K clips at 30FPS.

Contrary to this, Samsung has also announced the ISOCELL GN5 which is specifically for the mid range devices. It has enhanced focus qualities and is a slimmer sensor. The native pixel size of GN5 is 1μm and supports 12.5MP images with 2×2 binning in low light conditions.

The Samsung claims that GN5 is equipped with Front Deep Trench Isolation technology due to which it absorbs more light. Similar to ISOCELL HP1, GN5 also has a capability to record 8K shots at 30FPS.

The company has not yet disclosed that which devices will be equipped with these sensors. However, the HP1 will be installed in the top end smartphones in the flagship series and GN5 will be seen in the phones with an affordable price tags.
