Sony Xperia 1 III Specs Leaked Before Its Launch

The Japanese tech giant, Sony announced its flagship Xperia 1 II last year in Februaery. Now the company is gearing to come with its successor Xperia 1 III. Recently a famous leakster Onleaks leaked specifications of the phone.

The leaked image suggests, the design and aesthetics of the Sony Xperia 1 III similar to its predecessor Sony Xperia 1 II. The phone has a triple camera sensor and main sensor is expected to be 12MP with a mid range zoom gap. The camera is equipped with Zeiss branded lenses with T coating.

The phone once again manufactured in a classic design as Sony mostly makes. The phone has a fingerprint sensor at the back. The bezels are covered with stereo speakers. Unlike other top end phones, the Sony Xperia 1 III will not have memory card slot and 3.5 mm jack.

The leaked image further shows that the upcoming, Sony Xperia 1 II will have metal frame. It surprisingly has curved displays, curved edges, and strange camera bumps.

As revealed in a previous leak, the Sony Xperia 1 II will have a 6.5-inch 4K OLED HDR display and is expected to retain Sony’s usual 21:9 aspect ratio. There is no word on the refresh rate, but the display will be 15% brighter than before. It will be powered by the new 5nm Snapdragon 888 SoC topped with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
