We are here with you for giving good news related to local mobile phone industry in Pakistan. Our mobile industry is now going to have an International Smartphone maker as manufacturer in Pakistan. Vivo will now manufacture the mobile phones in Pakistan. In this regard the Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer has signed an agreement officially to build a manufacturing plant in Pakistan.

Reportedly, Vivo will construct the plant at the M3 Industrial Estate in the Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC). The company is supposed to make an investment of 10 million dollars in Pakistan by starting this project.

The Vivo’s Vice President Duam Tai Ping and Director Manufacturing Zhang Bin signed an agreement with FIEDMC over the weekend in the presence of Punjab Industry Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal.
Talking to media the Minister said:
“The provincial government will extend its maximum support to the Chinese investor for setting up the manufacturing plant”
He added further:
“The project will not only create jobs for local people but also boost the local smartphone industry”
